Extension Mooted

The roads committee of the Automobile Association (Wellington) . stated in a report adopted by the association s executive last night that appreciation of the action of the City Council in installing the new automatic lights at Jervois Quay should be conveyed to the council.

“From observations so far these lights appear to be giving every satisfaction, and are definitely an improve ment on the present time-cycle systems.” said the committee. “The committee is of the opinion that close observations of the working of these lights should be made with a view to considering representations for their ex tension throughout the city.”
