SUMMER CRUISES

Union Company’s Programme

The Union Company announces an increased number of cruises for next summer. Outstanding features will be a fortnight’s cruise by the Maunganui from Sydney round the South Island, and a cruise by, the new liner Awatca from Auckland to the northern bays. The first cruise will be by the Maunganui from Sydney to Milford Sound, George Sound, Doubtful Sound, Dusky Sound, Stewart Island, Dunedin, Lyttelton. Queen Charlotte Sound and Pcloru« Sound; leaving Sydney on December 2 and arriving back there on December 16. A similar cruise is intended in January if the bookings for the first one are sufficiently encouraging. The Maunganui will make a Christmas cruise from Auckland to Whangaroa. Bay of Islands and Port Fitzroy, leaving Auckland on the evening of December 24 and arriving back on Monday morning, December 28. The Awatea will make a cruise from Auckland to the same places on January 19, arriving back on January

23. A cruise from Wellington to Milford Sound will be made by the Maunganui leaving Wellington on February 4 and arriving back on February S.
