.Misses K. and A. O’Reilly, Waipawa, are on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. W. Watts, New Plymouth, is a visitor to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Brotherton are Christchurch visitors to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Aylmer are Wanganui visitors to ’Wellington.

Mr. and Mrs. S. Luttrell, Marton, were visitors to Wellington last week. Mrs. Brunton Williams, Hastings, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. C. Carlyon, Wellington, : is a visitor to Auckland.

Miss Pauline Fairclough, 'Wellington, is spending a holiday with her aunt, Miss Scott, Fendalton, Christchurch. Miss Theresa Ward will leave for Christchurch to-night after visiting Palmerston North and Heretaunga. Miss E. Hadfield, Wellington, who was the guest of Mrs. N. Little, New Plymouth, has returned. ' Mrs. Morris Blundell and Mrs. McPharland, Wellington, are the guests of Mrs. F. H. Blundell, New Plymouth. Miss Bertha Stark, "Wellington, is staying with her mother, Mrs. R. J. Stark, Christchurch. Miss E. Orr Campbell, 31. A., who has been appointed lecturer in botany at Victoria University College, arrived at Wellington yesterday. Mrs. Cuthbert Meares and Miss Helen Meares, who have been visiting Wellington, have returned to Christchurch.

Mrs. J. W. J. Harding and Miss Joan Harding, Hawera, arrived at the eud of last week on a short visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Golding, Eastbourne, who have been the guests of Major and Mrs. Goss, Napier, are at present in Gisborne. Miss Norah Ward and Miss T. Peckston, who have been the cuesta of: Mrs. E. D. Colson, New Plymouth, returned to Wellington by car during the weekend. Mrs. C. R. Harley Nott, who has been visiting relatives in Wellington and Auckland, left Auckland by the Monterey on Saturday night on her return to Suva.

Mrs. L. Vaughan Morgan, who, with her daughter, will leave Wellington this week for England, has been guest of honour at numerous afternoon and dinner parties during the past week or two, having been entertained by a number of Wellington hostesses. Captain Vaughan Morgan, who is Second Naval Member of the New Zealand Naval Board, will leave on his return to England later.
