“The art of cross-examination is not to examine crossly,” said Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, taking exception to counsel’s mode of questioning a witness. “I’ve heard that before,” replied counsel. “Yes, and you’ll hear it again. You must examine witnesses in a reasonable and decent manner,” said the magistrate.
