The Prime Minister. Mr J. A. Lyons, in tlie House of Representatives virtually invited Labour unions to launch an inquiry into the practicability of a 10-hour week by filing a plaint in the Federal Arbitration Court. Mr. Lyons said that the Common wealth Government would welcome such an application to the court by all organisations interested, and would do everything in its power to facilitate the proceedings and the presentation of all relevant evidence. ♦
