HOPE FOR AGREEMENT
Anglo-Egyptian Conversations i Received May 2-1, 7 p.m. > Cairo. May 23. The Premier, Nahas P. sha, read the speech from the throne at the opening of Parliament. He announced that the Anglo-Egyptian conversations were proceeding with serenity anil cordiality, and he hoped they would produce an honourable agreement embodying Egyptian independence and a tightening up of Auglo-Egyptiau friendship and an alliance.
