KING’S GOOD WISHES

Nelson Centenarian’s Birthday By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, May 22. Tbe King to-day sent heartiest congratulations and good wishes to one of his oldest subjects, Airs. T. A. Bromell, of Nelson, on her attainment of the age of 101. “Fancy him sending this all that way for my sake,” was Mrs. Bremen's way of expressing her evident pleasure. “Bless him.” Mrs. Bromell was born at Clifton. Bristol, where she married. In 1567 they emigrated to Melbourne and came to Nelson in 1868. In 1876 Mr. Bromell bought a farm at Tadmor, and when he died 23 years ago Mrs. Bromell settled in Nelson. There are two daughters and three sons living, 19 grandchildren, and nine great-grand-children.
