Davis, Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. Phil Nathan, Karori. .Mrs. Campbell Smith, Turakina, Is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Midland Hotel.
The .Misses Bertha and .Jessie Forbes, Cheviot, are the guests of Miss Jessie Elliott, Kent. Terrace.
Aliss E. Duncan, Heretaunga, will leave for England on Monday by the Tamaroa.
Airs. Eustace Hill. England, and her two daughters are the guests of Airs. Barkley Smith, Silverstrcam.
Miss Costigan, Lower Hutt, is visiting friends at Auckland, Helens vllle, and Marton.
Airs. C. E. Begg, Dunedin, is staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Airs. E. Davies and Mrs. W. Platt, Northland, are spending a few weeks in the Marlborough and Nelson districts.
Aliss Nellie E. Donovan was appointed hon. secretary of the Wellington Travel Club at the first meeting of the executive held recently. Aliss Eileen Crawford, who has been spending several months with Airs. A. D. Crawford, Miramar, will leave for England on June 5. Aliss L. Phillips, Temuka. who has been the guest of her sister-in-law, Airs. S. G. Phillips. Karori. has returned home.
Aliss Peggy Loughnau. Christchurch, arrived at Wellington by air to visit her parents. Air. and Mrs. Joseph Loughman. Lower Hutt.
Mr. and Airs. F. F. M. Ferguson, Wellington, who have been travelling in England. India and Australia for seven months, returned to New Zealand this week.
Airs. W. A. Martin. Kelburn, will leave AVellington by the Alauuganui next AVednesday to join the Alerkur for Singapore, where she will visit her brother, Lieut.-Colonel It. H. L. Fink.
Aliss Grace Budbanan, principal of the Ha taitai Kindergarten, who has been staying with her parents near Eeikling, will return to AVellington on Monday.
Aliss Betty Furkhart. Kaimate, has arrived in Wellington, and will be joined here by Aliss Al ollie Lowry, Otaki. On June 4 they will leave for Australia to spend a holiday. Captain and Mrs. Walker. England : Mrs. Peren. Palmerston North: Miss MacFarlane, Nelson: Dr. and Airs. Waterworth. Napier: Air. Galbraith, Niagara. Africa, are among the guests at Sayes Court. Aurora Terrace.
Aliss Elizabeth Blake (Mrs. Stanley Natuscb) has returned to Wellington from Hastings. She - reports a very successful ten days’ school. of drama held at Havelock North under the auspices of the national executive of the British Drama League, assisted by the committee of the Hawke's Bay League. AA’hile in Havelock North Aliss Blake was the guest of Mrs. Roger Greenwood.
