STREET APPEAL FOR HOME OF COMPASSION
The street 'lay appeal for the Home Compassion on Wednesday realised the sum of £404 in the collection boxes To this has to be. added a further £387 collected by the organisers at afternoon and evening functions and for «nle of produce. This gives the result of £771. It is anticipated that contributions from the Hutt and I’etone districts and ’be completion of other functions still pending will result in the thousand pound mark being reached.
