NORTH BROKEN HILL, LTD.
Distribution for Year, 70 p.c. North Broken Hill, Limited, yesterday ised the Stock Exchange Association that the directors had declared a dividend of 2/6 per share, together with a bonus of 1/- per share, payable in Melbourne on June 20. Transfer books close May 29. Similar quarterly distributions were de on September 28, December 12 and March 27 so that the total for the year ending .Tune 30 will be 1-1/- per share, equal to 70 per cent., compared with 9/per share or 45 per cent, for the previous year. Net. profit last year was £390,683. mr.kin- with £364,437 brought forward a total of £755.121. Dividends and bonus absorbed £315.000. ami after appropriating £59.441 for new plant, £350.650 was carried forward. Tlie company lias a capital of £700.000 in £1 shares. A sale of th: company's shares was'made on the Melbourne Stock Exchange this week at £B/8/6.
