SHIPPING COMPANY FORMED
Montreal-Australia-New Zealand Sydney, May 21. A new shipping company, the Mon-treal-Australia-New Zealand Line. Lint ited, has been formed to acquire the service at present run by tbe Canadian National Steamships from eastern Canada to Australian and New Zealand ports. There are at present nine freighters engaged in this service, but it is likely that these ships will be supplemented when required and ultimately replaced by faster vessels.
The new company has been formed by tlie New Zealand Shipping Company, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, and tlie Ellerman and Bueknall Steamship Company. Tlie head office will be at Sydney.
