Vonnida successfully defended his open Queensland golf title at the Royal Queensland course with an aggregate of 297. He is tlie first player to win the championship in two successive years. His third round of 70 broke the course record. A. Watersou (New South Wales), with a score of 303, was second, and M Ryan (Victoria) and J. Spence (New South Wales), 306, equal for third place.
