♦ Report of Last Month’s Operations At yesterday’s meeting of the Wellington Free Ambulance Board the superintendent, Mr. F. Roffe, reported that during the month of April the ambulance had attended to 071 transports, 12S accident cases, and eight slight office cases—a total of 1107. The details of those cases are as follow: City and suburbs, 953; Eastbourne, 7; Johnsonville, 3; Koro Koro, 5; Lowry Bay, 1; Lower Hutt, 45; Mangaroa Valley, 1 ; Ngahauranga, 1; Otaki, 9; Petone, 35; to Porirua, 6; from Porirua, 4; Paremata, 1; Paekakariki, 3; Paraparaumu, 3; Pukerua Bay, 1; Silverstream, 9; Tawa Flat, 2; Treutham, 1; Upper Hutt, 13 ; Wallnccville, 1 ; Wuikanae, 1; and Wanganui, 1. The honorary staff was on duty for 113 hours during the month. The total number of cases attended by the Free Ambulance up to date was GG,407, and the number of miles travelled by the ambulances was 633,397.
