YACHT ARIEL’S CRUISE

Arrival at Lord Howe Island By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 21. The Auckland keel yacht Ariel, manned by Mr. C. Fell, of Russell, and Mr It. Wellington, of Auckland, arrived at Lord Howe Island on May 7 after a passage of four days from Norfolk Island. The yacht, which left Auckland on April 15, is bound for Great Barrier Reef, via Sydney and Brisbane, and Hie crew hopes to spend some months exploring I he 500 miles of water surrounding the reef.
