WOMAN’S DEATH

Fatally Injured When Struck by Car By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, May 20. Maud Marie Scrivener, a married woman, aged 56, of Estuary Road, South Brighton, died in Christchurch Hospital this afternoon from injuries received last night when she was struck by a motor-car in Papanui Road. Mrs. Scrivener was riding a bicycle and the car which struck her was driven by Colin Watson Carr, 220 Riccai’tpn Road. She received bead injuries and shock.
