GIFT FOR CHILDREN
Open-air Hospital Block Uy Telegraph.—Press Association. Oaiuaru, May 10. The Waitaki Hospital Board this morning gratefully accepted the offer of a magnificent gift by Mr. Samuel Saltzman, of Dunedin. Expressing appreciation of treatment by the doctors, matron and board, and recognising the need fo r a children’s open-air block to accommodate eight beds, playroom, solarium, etc., Mr. Saltzman offered to donate the cost of the same. £l5OO. The board passed a motion expressing its appreciation of the generosity of the donor.
