Gas Board Elects Its Delegates Delegates to the conference being called by the Lower Hutt Borough Council to consider amalgamation of the Hutt Valley local bodies were elected at last evening’s meeting of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gan Board, on the motion ot Mr. D. W, Campbell, seconded by Mr. K. if. Russell. . Mr. L. T. B. Hogg was nominated as one of the three delegate# to the conference, but the possibility of his representing the Petone Borough Council was then rili Mr. Russell moved that the board's representatives should be the three membeis of the board who were not members ot other local bodies—the chairman, Mr. M . G. Lodder, and Messrs. D. W. Campbell and V. E. Jacobson. Mr. C. J. Ashton proposed that the reprcficutativcs should be Louder, Russell and CumminsMr. Hogg seconded Mr. Ivussell s motion, which wa# carried. Mr. Campbell: The three social outcasts.
