BROOKLYN HARRIERS

A run of the Brooklyn Harrier Club which is looked forward to and enjoyed everv year was held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. Barclay, Wadestown. last week-end. A muster of some 35 members in four packs followed a five-mile trail, which commenced from Wadestown Road, Blackbridge Road to the hilltops, then down to Ngaio and back. Owing to the nature of the country this run is always considered strenuous, but ill Spite of this the packs were well grad cd and kept together, although men such as D. Sinclair and W. Hiscock. who revel in these types of trails, were outstanding. After the run afternoon tea was provided by the host and hostess, who were warmly thanked by Hie club captain, V Fitzgibbon.
