Dr. Dry Wins Agricultural Society’s Essay Prize A prize of 20 guineas offered by the Royal Agricultural Society for an essay on‘problems of wool-growing in New Zealand lias been won by Dr, F. AV. Dry, Massey Agricultural College, Palmerston North. His essay is to be published in the society’s magazine. Dr. Dry. who is attached to the staff of Massey .Collge, is well known for his research work into wool problems in this country. He has written much of interest arising from the results of his research in wool zoology, especially concerning halo-hairs in the, fleece, a subject to which he has paid particular attention.
