Queen’s Wharf Entrance System The new system of electric light signals in .Tcrvois Quay, opposite the entrance to Queen’s Wharf, is now in working order. It is hoped to operate it normally on Monday morning next For the first few days there will he traffic inspectors on the spot to instruct drivers of motor vehicles as to the working of the system, but after that there will he no necessity to employ inspectors on point duty nt Queen’s Wharf. .Tervois Quay is now one of the busiest thoroughfares in 'Wellington. A recent tally taken by the Traffic Department disclosed that on an average, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.nt , the number of vehicles passing north and south is 1-150 a-u hour.
