OLYMPIC ATHLETES
Total of 5300 Going to Gaines Loudon, .May 13. An Olympic Games official who is visiting London told the Australian Associated Press Agency that 53 nations would lie sending 5300 athletes to Berlin. The few who had declined their invitations included Palestine, which replied that its athletes had not yet reached Olympic standard. The German team of about 460 will be the largest and America's, of 400, will probably be the next largest. The Ministry of Finance has relaxed the foreign exchange restrictions to enable the importation of foreign food.
In addition to a German army officer who will be attached to encl) team as an assistant, there will be an official attache to each team on behalf of the organising committee, who will, as far as possible, be of the same nationality. All the British Empire teams will be grouped in the same section of the Olympic Village
