Motor-cyclists in Collision ONE’S CONDITION SERIOUS By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 13. Two niolor-eyelists were seriously injured iu a head-on collision on Lake Hoad, Takapuna, to-night. Norman Alfred Tibbutt, a collector, aged 30, of Devonport, received severe head injuries and a possible fracture of the skull, and Boland Douglas Stewart, a radio serviceman, aged 22, of Mount Eden, had his right thigh fractured. Both men were admitted to Auckland Hospital. Tibbutt was reported to be in a serious condition, while Stewart was satisfactory. The collision occurred opposite the brickworks. Stewart, who is employed nt a radio dealer's shop in Takapuna, was riding toward Devonport, and Tibbutt,. who was travelling in the opposite direction, was pulling out from behind a bus in front of him at the moment of impact. Both motorcycles were badly damaged. WOMAN’S ARM BROKEN Two Motor-cars in Collision • By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 13. A passenger in a motor-car, Miss C. Cauley, of Epsom, received a fracture of her right forearm in a motor accident on tlie Great South Road at Takanini. Miss Cauley and another woman were in a car driven by Mr. J. AV. Bygate, of St. Stephen’s School, proceeding southward, when it came into collision with another car driven in the opposite direction by Thomas Ward Green, jockey, of Takanini.
