< Election of Officers “We have already received evidence of interest from members, and indications point to a strong revival of the desire foster the true club spirit by inducing ii ‘digger’ to join up and share in the true ‘digger' atmosphere that prevails at these tattooes,” stated the annual report of the Tin Hat Club of the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association, which was presented at the annual meeting last nigh(. There was a large attendance of members. The report further stated that the membership now stood at 350. The accounts reflected much credit on the club's affairs, and the club was now on its way to profitable years. In addition to the usual contributions to the Anz.ac and Armistice night concerts, the R.S.A. Male Voice Choir gave a charity concert which enabled £23 to bo banded to the Blind Institute to provide furniture for the club-room. The choir had also given performances at the Red Cross Hospital and the Orphans’ Club. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Lieutenant-Colonel H. E. Avery, C.M.G.. D. 5.0.; president, LieutenantColonel A. Cowles, V.D.: vice-presidents, Colonel H. Weston, D. 5.0.; Colonel G. Lvon, M.C., tin- Hon. W. Perry. M.L.C., Major F. Waite. D. 5.0.. and Messrs. S. J. Harrison. L. Hill. W. J. McKeon. G. Holloway, I’. Cole. C. A. Perry, and J. Payne: executive committee. Messrs. G. Boas-, W. Irons. D. Alabaster. H. O’Neill, I). Echoff, J. Snonce. J. Rodgers, S. Porter, and 11. Wiseman: 'hon. secretary, Mr. W. Burd: hon. treasurer, Mr. W. Rowe: hon. auditor. Mr. H. L. Cooper; musical director, Air. P. Cole; choir conductor, Mr. F. Oakes.
