RIFLE SHOOTING
University Club At Trentiiam on Saturday last the Victoria University College Defence Rltlo (’lull arranged n championship washing-up shoot nt 500 yards ami also a classification (musketry) shoot. Results were:— Aperture Shooting. A. A. Gnwith s2 B. D. A. Greig ' ’ J. B. (.'. Taylor 46 The winner of the aperture shooting competition for 1035-3 B Is G. T. Ryan (418) with A. A. Gawlth second (410). Musketry. The practices fired were live rounds, grouping at 100 yards, five rounds application nt 200 yards, five rounds snap nt 200 yards, 10 rounds rapid at 200 yards, and five rounds application at 300 yards. Members who have not yet fired the classification course will be given a final opportunity of. doing so next Saturday.
