BIG PRIZE MONEY

Trotting Championships at Adelaide Adelaide, May 13. The South Australian Trotting Association’s secretary stated that not less than £6OOO and probably as much as £lO,OOO will be distributed in prizemoney at the South Australian centenary inter-Dominion trotting carnival, to be held at Adelaide between January 27 and February 6 next year. It is believed that about 30 first-class pacers and trotters from other States and New Zealand will compete.

Three more yearlings from Sir Charles Clifford’s Stonyhurst Stud have arrived at Riccarton, and C-utts Brothers will make an early start to break them in. They are Night Dress, a colt bj- Nightmarch from Ball Dress; Haughty Winner, a eolt by Winning Hit form Disdainful; and Stone Frigate, a filly by Nightmarch from Sailor's Love.
