Prices at the Gisborne cattle fair ruled very firm. SIS made late rates at Wanganui, with cattle easier. At Johnsonville prime . sheep and lambs were firm, with plainer sorts 1/- down. bat cattle were in oversupply at Burnside, and eased 10/- to £1 a head. Heavy fat sheep advanced 1/-, while lambs were slightly easiei.
