Price Movements At Yesterday’s Sales Store sheep prices rose at Addington yesterday, but fats were down !/• to 1/6 a head with lambs slightly easier. Fat cattle were firm, best beef m iking to 30/- a 1001 b. At Westfield cattle were in over supply, prices easing 15/- a head, best beef making to 27/- a 1001 b. Sheep were in short stippl v meetin- a very keen demand, while lambs made late rates. lat -cattle lO- a head at Stortford Lodge, with stores dull of sale. Fat sheen values hardened. Prices at the Gisborne cattle fair ruled very firm. SIS made late rates at Wanganui, with cattle easier. At Johnsonville prime . sheep and lambs were firm, with plainer sorts 1/- down. bat cattle were in oversupply at Burnside, and eased 10/- to £1 a head. Heavy fat sheep advanced 1/-, while lambs were slightly easiei.
