ROSS TO DEFEND TITLE
Bout With Carroll In Australia (Received May 13, 10.20 p.m.) Chicago, May 12. The Australian boxing promoter, Mr. O. Lucas, has announced that Barney Ross has agreed to defend his title against Jack Carroll in Australia. It is understood that Ross has been guaranteed 45,000 dollars, exclusive of Australian income tax.
