INJURED IN CYCLONE
Death of Thames Miner By Telegraph—Press Association. Thames, March 30. Jack Hollows, an elderly miner and pensioner, who wag admitted to Thames Hospital following the collapse of a shanty at Tapu during the recent cyclone suffering from head and internal injuries, died last night. Death was due to pneumonia, the result of exposure while he was pinned under the wreckage for several hours. It is stated that the shtick was picked up by the gale and thrown about a chain before collapsing on top of the occupant. Deceased is thought to have been about 70 years of age. He had resided in lite district tor many years.
