The Port Line motor-ship Port Chalmeri. which left ‘ Lyttetlon yesterday for London. via Cape Horn, took the following passengers:—Mrs. F. J. Reynolds. Miss R. J. Reynolds, Miss D. E. Douglas is acting as ship’s surgeon. AUSTRALIA STAR LOADING. From Townsville, the Blue Star Line motor-ship Australia Star reached Gisborne yesterday morning to commence her Homeward loading. She is to leave there again to-day for Napier, Wellington , and Auckland to complete. The vessel is due hare 1 on March 26, and is to clear Auckland finally on April 8 for London, via the Panama Canal. SYDNEY MARU EARLIER. The Federal Company, local agents for the O.S.K. Line, have received cabled advice that the motor-ship Sydney Maru, on route from Japan, will now leave Melbourne next Tuesday for Bluff, Dunedin. Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland to discharge and load. She is due at Bluff on March 28, here on April 1, and is to clear Auckland on April 6 for Japan via Sydney and Brisbane. THE TEES. The steamer Tees left the Chatham Islands yesterday for Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due here next Tuesday morning and will leave again later the same day for the Chathams. Mr. T. J. Gardener is the local agent. THE MONTEREY. The Matson liner Monterey, from Saa Francisco and Los Angeles, via Honolulu. Pago Pago and Suva, is due at Auckland this morning. She will leave there again later to-day for Sydney and Melbourne.
