Slight Increase In Allowances The new scale of fees for jurymen, to come Into force on April 1, shows a slight increase on the schedule previously in force, and officially an nounced in the New Zealand Gazette for October 20, 1932. Under the existing arrangement, common jurors attending any civil or criminal sitting, or any juror attending an inquest. Is to be allowed 0/- for attendance for over three hours in one day, and 4/6 for less than three hours. Under the new schedule these fees will be increased to 10/6 and 5/- respectively.
