“Doctored” Coin in Game By Telegraph—Press Association. Taihape, March (J. A showman, named Edward George Roberts, alias Edwin Maloney, wa« lined £5 to-day by Mr. R. M. Watson, S.M., for using “doctored” coin in a “roll-down” game at the Raugitikoi A. and P. Show yesterday. He was arrested by Detective Murray, of Wanganui, and threw the coin away when going to the police station. The detective observed his action, and later returned and found the coin.
