SALVATION ARMY CADETS ENTER TRAINING

An annual event of interest to many throughout the Dominion is tlie opening of the Salvation Army Training College in Wellington. This year 17 young men and women are entering the college for a course of training to lit them for offleership. They were welcomed last, night at a gathering in the college presided over by Lieut.Commissioner F. Adams, tlie territorial commander.

On Sunday they will take part in three meetings to be conducted by the commissioner in the Vivian Street citadel, and they will be publicly welcojued at a special gathering on Monday night in the same building.
