Insutance issues were extremely quiet, the on y inquiry being for Nationals, which were weak at 18/6. Gear Meats were slightly firmer at 20/6, and more were wanted at 00/3 N.Z. Refrigerating, 10/- paid sold at 9/11. Inquiries for shipping shares included N.Z. Shipping preference at £ll. Wellington Woollens were easier at to 13/-, sellers asking £5/19/-. Timber issues showed very little change. N.Z. Breweries sold at 51/11 to 52/-, and Dominion ordinaries were wanted at 20/9, a rise of

3d. Miscellaneous industrial and trading, issues attracted renewed interest. 1 rices varied but little. British tobaccos firmed 4d to 41/4. and G. J. Coles recovered 1/9 at 72/3. Colonial Sugars were marked down 2/6 at £42/2/6. In the mining section Mount Morgan had five sales at 16/3;. Mount Lyells were wanted at 24/2, a rise of ~d.
