Sir Francis Frazer, chairman of the Executive Commission of Agriculture, has returned to Wellington from the South Island.

Vice-Admiral J. E. T. Harper, who has been touring New Zealand during the past three months, will leave for England in the Mataroa to-morrow. Dr. C. G. Morice has returned to Wellington from a visit to the. South Island.

Mr. David Jones arrived in Wellington yesterday from the south. Judge Harvey, of the Native Land Court, arrived at Wellington yesterday from the south.

Mr. A. R. Entrican, of the State Forest Service, has returned to Wellington from the south.

Dr A. Sandston arrived at Wellington yesterday from Christchurch. Dr. A. Thomson, Christchurch, arrived at Wellington from the south yesterday.

Mr. R. E. Murray left Wellington last night for the north.

Mr S. Carruthers was a passenget from Wollingfoti last night for the north.

Mr. U. Hally. Conciliation Commissioner. arrived at Wellington yesterday from Auckland.

Mr. C. G. Macindoe, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, left for Sydney by the Wangauella. Mr E. 11. Selwyn Dawe, Dannevirke, returned from Christchurch yesterday morning.

Mr. W. W. Petrie, of the Seventh Day Adventist Mission in New Guinea, has been staying in Wellington for the past week during his visit on furlough to New Zealand, where he was born. He will leave to-day for Palmerston North, and later Auckland. Mr. Frank Goldberg, governing director of the Goldberg Advertising Agency Ltd., who has been paying a short business visit to New Zealand. left yesterday by the Monowai for Auckland en route to Sydney.

Mr. Frank J. Oakes has been elected conductor of the Wellington Male Voice Choir for the ensuing year. Mr. Oakes is at present conductor of the choir of St. Gerard's, and the Jubilee Choir (formed on the occasion of the jubilee of the late Archbishop Redwood ).

Mr. Sydney Tombs, Dominion representative for the British Neon Corporation. Ltd., has been elected managing director for the company, with headquarters at Auckland. Mr. F. Mason, who has been associated with Mr. Tombs, will be in charge of the Wellington office.
