Results the Upper Hutt Cricket Deague’s last series of matches are as follow:—

Training Depot A scored an outright win over Methodist.

St. Joseph’s 148 (Allen 59, Coley 34) and 24 for four wickets, defeated Ordnance 84 (Dudding 57 not out), and 86, by six wickets. Bowling for the winners, Allen took six for 23; for Ordnance, Lake took eight for 24.

Colts 150 for five, declared (Snerton 75. Auekrara 29) and 46 for two wickets, defeated Trentham 58 (Beech 22) and 136 (N. Grigg 51, Christensen 32) by eight wickets. Bowling for Colts, Dunn took seven for 28, Auckram five for 30 and two for 24, Smith four for 33 and one for 2; bowling for Trentham, Babbitt took three for 24, Beech two for 26.

Upper Hutt won on the first innings by three runs against Training Depot B. The chief scorers for Upper Hutt were: Murray 42, Haggerty 34. and for Depot, O’Neill 28, C. Prior 22. Bowling for Upper Hutt. Haggerty took three for 27, Williams two for 15, Auld two for 29. Bowling for Depot, O'Neill took eight for 36.
