Hospital Deposed From Leadership CRISP’S FINE CENTURY FOR JASCO A complete change has come over the positions of the various teams in the A grade of the Wellington Mercantile Cricket League as a result of the series of games played on Saturday. At the end of the first: round Hospital had a lead of eight pointe, but in the last four games they have been beaten twice and have drawn twice. On Saturday Hospital suffered their second reverse at the hands ot Jasco and now Boscneath lead the championship by two pointe- Taxes Department, who were third at the end of the first round, have now dropped to seventh place, while Public Trust have advanced from seventh to fourth place. With five games to play the competition is at a inowt interesting stage and is full of possibilities. T .... In their game with Jasco, Hospital dedared with nine wiekets down for 211, and when Jasco had three, wicketo down for 85 the position did not look promising. A fine partnership between Crisp and Donovan completely changed the aspect of the game, and when Donovan was dismissed nt 179 Jasco were in a winning position. The fifth wicket wiped out the deficiency, Crisp going on to complete a chanceless 154, including four sixers and 24 fours. Maintaining their brilliant batting form Koseneath scored an easy win over Smith mid Smiths.' In their last four games Roscneath have scored 839 runs for the loss of .18 wickets. Customs scored a narrow win over Tuxes Department, who lost their opportunity after reaching three figures for the loew of four wickets, while Public Trust owed a great deal to Climo for their three-run victory over Woolworths.
