POPULATION INCREASE

February Vital Statistics Wellington district’s population grew by nearly 100 last month, according to the returns of the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages. Births for the month totalled 177, as against 48 for February. 1935. and deaths, 76, as against 02.
