Application Lodged In Mareo Case TO BE HEARD ON TUESDAY By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, February 20. A motion was lodged in the Supreme Court this morning by Mr. K. C. Aekins, solicitor for Mareo, applying for leave to appeal to the Court of Ap peal for a new trial on the ground that, the verdict was against the weight of evidence. The application will come before Mr. Justice Fair in the Supreme Court at Auckland on Tuesday.
