MAJOR J. R. KIRK
Good Recovery Made (Received March 1, 6.30 p.m.) Sydney, March 1. Major J. R. Kirk, chairman of the New Zealand headquarters of the Soldiers’ Civil Re-establishment League, and chairman of the Dominion Council of the Boy Scouts’ Association, who recently underwent a serious operation here, has made a good recovery, but some time will elapse before he is able to return to New Zealand.
