Berry (5) and K. B. Lockess a card of G up. 11.I 1 . H. Mullins ( H)_ and W. Al. Rodger (8) were next with 5 up. Events held yesterday resulted :— Aledal round: Spencer Digby, olf-11-u.. Fourball, best-ball bogey: K. k" Lauish (15) and S. AVilmhnrst (15) and IL G. Hayward (2) mid E. AlcCarroll (o finished 6 up. The latter pair won on the toss. . . Thu semi-finals of the eonipotit'ou for the trophy presented by Air. H- L- Du-t resulted:—Spencer Digby beat H. A. 'Hanson, 8 and 7; E. E. Banish beat 1. Thomas, 4 and 3. Wellington Club A medal round played by the }A elliiigtoii club on Saturday was won by N. S. Falla, with a card reading ST-IS-O’J-Hutt Club W. It. Lees, jun, bent B. M._ Silk by 3 iij> land 2 to play, in the semi-final of the Hutt Club's Summer Cup competition yesterday. Silk had to concede seven strokes. Lees will now meet W. G. Fisher in the final.
