Australian Academy Of Advertising POSITION IN DUNEDIN Dominion Special Service. Dunedin, February 28. There appears to have been a particularly large response in Dunedin from hopeful young men and women who wanted to follow a career in advertising and who Answered an advertisement last month soliciting the services of five young men, two young women and two youths. One applicant for a position who received notification on Monday of last week that he had been appointed to a position on the staff of the AusAcademy of Advertising had his suspicions aroused. He inserted an advertisement in the “Otago Daily Times” requesting others who bad applied for'positions to communicate with him. So far he has received replies from 55 people. The terms of the letters which have been received in Dunedin by applicants are on similar lines to those received ;in other centres and emphasis is laid on the necessity for engaging in a correspondence course, of which one of the first essentials appears to be the payment of fees as early as possible.
