To-day's Recipe Honey Bread

Honey is a valuable food, and honey bread makes a nice change for the tea table. Try this recipe: M’ork 3 ounces of lard or butter well into half a lb. of Hour; when quite smooth, add 3 ounces sugar, a pinch of salt, half a teaspoonful of ground cinnamon, and quarter of a lb. sultanas. Warm quarter of a lb. of thin honey and half a teaspoouful of milk, dissolve in the warm milk half a teaspoonfut of baking soda, add to the flour and lard (or butter). Alix until quite smooth, put in it greased tin. and bake iu a moderate oven for about an hour.
