THE SOCIAL ROUND
Caledonian Ingleside Tlie ingleside held by the M'ellington Caledonian Society recently was au outstanding success. There was a large' gathering of members and friends, as well as representatives from kindred societies. The floor was in excellent order for the old-time ami Scots national dancing. Mr. J. Stirling was M.C., and Mrs. McGowan provided the music, assisted by PipeMajor Fraser for the Scots dances. The dancing was iutersiwrsed witli songs and oilier items by Mrs. Halvorsen, Mr. D. Hogg and Miss M. Thompson. The Reel o’ Tulloch and highland reel were danced by Misses .lean O'Connor, Peggy Smith, Grade McKay and Diasy Marshall, (lie pipe accompaniment being provided by Pipers J. Currie and C. Stewart. At Hie next evening tlie annual competition will take place for tlie Beeuie Ballantyne Cup and tlie Graham-Moffat Cup.
