AERODROME OPENED

Pageant at Waipapakauri By Telegraph—Press Association. VVhangarei, February 28. Waipapakauri Aerodrome, with 550 yards’ runway, and the capacity for extension to 1000 yards, was opened yesterday, when a successful pageant was held. Seven aeroplanes participated. The late Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and the late Mr. Charles Dim chose tliis spot to take off for their Tasman flights.
