Conference at Napier Dominion Special Service Napier, February 28. Next week’s conference of delegates to the Municipal Association of New Zealand will be the first gathering of the association ever held at Napier. For the conference, which is to open on Wednesday in the Foresters’ Hall, it is expected that as many as 170 visitors from all parts of New Zealand will make the journey to Napier. The present president of the association is Mr. C. O. Morse, Mayor of Napier, and the secretary-treas-urer. is Mr. A. Eaton Hurley, of Wellington. The annual gatherings - of the Town Clerks’ Institute nnd the Municipal Electric Supply Authorities’ Association ■ Will also be held in Napier next week, , ■
