The American heavyweight boxer Obie Walker • outpointed Maurice Strickland, the ex-New Zealand heavy weight champion, over 10 rounds in tlie Bhiekfrittrs’ ring after terrific fighting.
Strickland boxed cleverly against Walker’s superior force. The New Zealander was down for nine in the last round.
