Excellent Clearances
(Received February 10, 10.55 p.m.) Sydney, February 10.
At the wool, sales 12,986 bales were offered, 11,836 being sold at auction and 834 privately. In a firm market, preference was shown for well-grown descriptions. To-day there was good competition and excellent clearances. Greasy merino made to 23-jd. The average price of wool last week was £l9/1/4 a bale or 16d. a pound.
