LoAver Hutt Branch Meets The monthly meeting of the Lower Hutt Methodist Guild was held recently, Mrs. Sharp presiding. Mrs. Aldersiey, one of the members, who is just back from a trip abroad, gave an interesting talk on churches, chapels and cathedrals she had seen and visited. She was very impressed with \the old world city of Canterbury, she said, and it was at Canterbury that the post-Christian church service was started and had been held daily ever since. Hampton Court and Windsor State apartments were also visited by M rs - Aldersiey, who spoke of the big influence the old churches and cathedrals played in the history of the nation. Airs. Sharp expressed thanks to Mrs. Aldersiey *and as it was the last meeting to be presided over by her, she read as her parting message to the guild .11 Peter, i, 5-8.
