Miss Zoe Bowling, Oriental Bay, is visiting Christchurch. Mrs. J. H. Morton, Eltham, is visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Sutherland have returned to Wanganui from Timaru.

Miss Gladys Searell has returned to Auckland after visiting Wellington. Mrs. S. E. McNutt, Waipukurau, is spending a holiday at Castlecliff. Miss Margaret Pilcher has returned to Wellington from a tour of the North Island.

Mrs. Stanley Wallens, Australia, is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. A. Gill, Te Marua. Mr. and Mrs. J. C/ St. George, Dunedin, are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. ■- "

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Riddler, Barton Road, Heretaunga, are on a visit to Hawke's Bay. Mrs. Basil B. Hooper has returned to Auckland after a visit to relatives in Canterbury, Wellington, and Taranaki. Miss Mamie Reid has returned, to Wellington after an extended tour of the South Island. Mr. and Mrs. W. Scott,; Karioi, are visiting Wanganui for the Curtayne— Svenson wedding. Mrs. F. Roy Barber and her two children, who hav e been visiting Rotorua and Hamilton, have returned to Manakau. Mrs. Stuart-Menteath,’.who has been Spending several weeks in Wellington, left yesterday morning for her home in Havelock North.

Mr. and Mrs. Humphries, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Cranstone, Fordell, Wanganui, have returned to Gisborne.

Miss P. Patton, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. McKenzie, at Waltara, .is now staying with Mrs. I. Davidson, Waverley. Mrs. D. H. Guthrie has returned to New Zealand from a long holiday at Brisbane, and is visiting Paekakariki before returning to Wanganui.

Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Melrose, Taumarunui, who are on a tour of the North Island, have spent a week as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. K. Browne, ‘'Harbour View,” Brooklyn. Miss E. M. Black, who has been attending the Dominion conference of the: Florists’ Telegraph Delivery Association in Christchurch, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. P. J. Connolly, Brisbane, arrived at Wellington by the Wanganella on an extended visit to hei- son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Connolly, Hataitai.

Miss Louise Roberts, Dunedin, who isi the guest of Mrs. H. F. Norman, Tinakori Road, will leave to-morrow for Pelorus Sounds, where she will.oe the guest of Mrs. Rogers, Manaroa.

Mrs. J. H. Storr. Hobart, Tasmania, who has been visiting Milford Sounds and the Cold Lakes, is now the guest of her mother, Mrs. W. Luke,' 24 Brougham Street, Wellington.

Recent Wellington guests at Foster’s Hotel, Wanganui, included: Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Clegg, Mrs. A. M. Adams, Misses J. and L. Adams, Mrs. A. C Pearce.

Mrs. W. J. Melville and family,- who have been spending the school vacation at Manakau, have returned to thejr home, “Moana,” Castlecliff, accompanied by Miss Beverley-Smith.
