If you wish to darken your cakes mix one small teaspoon of carb, soda in a tablespoon of vinegar and stir into the cake mixing after all the other ingredients have been added. Junket flavoured with rum is an oldfashioned sweet recipe and it is delicious if served ley cold with whipped cream.
An economic blitter fot - fish can be made by mlxlhg up a thin paste of Hour and water—minus the usual egg—and dipping the fish into this before coating with breadcrumbs.
